CAO Earns National Advanced Certificate

The Village of New Denver’s CAO and Corporate Officer Lisa Scott has recently completed Level I of the National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration (NACLAA). Congratulations Lisa! Village of New Denver Mayor, Council, and staff want to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that went into successfully completing this certificate while simultaneously managing her role at the Village with professionalism, expertise, competency, and decorum. This certificate is on top of the Certificate in Municipal Administration and 25 years’ experience in local government administration.

The NACLAA Level I Program is an award winning program, with courses developed and delivered by academics and practitioners from all corners of the country who are experts in their field. NACLAA programs focus on the concepts, structures, and processes that define local government administration. They identify and analyze community issues relevant to Canadian municipalities, with courses focusing on concepts, structures, and processes that define local government administration. Students are provided the theoretical and practical knowledge that are essential for success working in local authority administration.
