As of January 2026, the Village of New Denver is still looking to fill two vacancies on its Accessibility Advisory Committee.

One of these vacancies must be filled a person of indigenous heritage. The other vacancy must be filled by a person who has personal experience with a disability / disabilities, or is a representative of an organization that supports persons with disabilities.

Participation in this committee is strictly volunteer and no remuneration will be paid.

When appointing members to the committee, Council will pay attention to the diversity of representation and a cross-disability perspective.
