The Village of New Denver has hired a contractor to collect updated aerial imagery of the community. This work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 (weather permitting).

This work is an important step in supporting the Village’s transition to NextGen911, a modernized emergency response system that improves how location information is shared with first responders. Accurate, up-to-date mapping helps ensure emergency services can respond quickly and precisely when needed.

The contractor will be using drone equipment to capture detailed images and ground surface data. This work is strictly for updated mapping to support planning and emergency response improvements for the community.

Residents may notice low-flying drones operating throughout the Village during this time. For safety, please stay clear of any active work areas or equipment.
