Cypress Land Services, on behalf of the Columbia Basin Trust, is seeking consent from property owners for work on private property to bring high-speed optical fibre to their homes. This new infrastructure will support access to high-speed internet for existing homes.
A map outlining properties currently eligible in New Denver is available online HERE (zoom out to see both blue and red areas).
If you own a home within the areas highlighted in red or blue on the CBT’s eligibility map (the full map is available HERE), you should have received a letter through Canada Post, with the subject line “Consent to Complete Work on your Property – High-Speed Internet Access.” You can view a copy of that letter HERE.
If you did not receive a copy of that letter in the mail, but own a home outlined in red or blue on the eligibility map, you are encouraged to complete the survey, either online (HERE), or by email, mail, or drop-off, as outlined in the letter. Paper copies may be printed at the Village Office upon request. Please note the home must be a permanent structure.
