Councillor Law has resigned from Council, effective January 12, 2026.The Village of New Denver would like to take this opportunity to recognize and thank Councillor Law for his service and dedication to the community.

Throughout his time on Council, Councillor Law demonstrated care, thoughtfulness, and a strong commitment to understanding the issues before him. He consistently took the time to research matters thoroughly, listen carefully, and contribute meaningful, well-considered perspectives to Council and Committee discussions.

Councillor Law also served the community through his participation and leadership on several committees and commissions, including the Accessibility Advisory Committee, Recreation Commission No. 6, the Economic Development Commission, and the Rosebery Parklands and Trails Commission.

We are grateful for his contributions to Council and to the broader community of New Denver, and we wish him all the very best. We look forward to seeing his continued involvement in the community in whatever form that may take in the future.
