The Village of New Denver is aware of reports concerning a former Chief Administrative Officer who is no longer employed by the Municipality.
This individual was employed by the Municipality from July 2024 to June 2025 and is no longer an employee.
We understand this news may be troubling for members of the community. Matters related to the hiring, employment, and departure of any employee are personnel matters, and subject to privacy legislation. In this context, the Municipality is not able to comment on specific details associated with the departure of any former employee.
Given the importance of the Chief Administrative Officer role, the Municipality has an established hiring process and followed that process at the time, including a criminal record check.
The Municipality’s current Chief Administrative Officer is in place and the Village continues to operate with a focus on serving the community.
