Property Tax Information

Payment must be received by the Village of New Denver on or before July 15 before 4:00 P.M. to avoid penalties. Postmarks on mailed remittances will not be considered as date of payment. Please allow enough time for delivery if you are sending payment by mail or online through a financial institution. Should the 15th fall on a weekend it is due the following Monday before 4:00 P.M.
Please be sure to check your Property Tax Notice or call the Village Office (250-358-2316) to confirm the due date if you are unsure.

Payment Methods

Payment Methods are cheque, cash, debit, online bill payment, or e-transfer to accounting@newdenver.ca. No password is required. Credit cards are not accepted.

If paying through your financial institution, first search for “New Denver”. Enter your roll number. Depending on the number of digits required by your financial institution, you may need to add zero(s) to the beginning or end of your roll so it is between 4 and 7 digits (Example: if your roll is 123456 try 0123456). Please contact your financial institution for more information and/or assistance.

You can mail your payment and the bottom portion of the property tax notice to Village of New Denver, PO Box 40, New Denver, BC, V0G 1S0. Your cancelled cheque is your receipt.

You can pay in person at the Village Office at 115 Slocan Avenue, New Denver, BC. Outside of business hours, you may also use the secure drop box conveniently located at the entrance of the Village office.
