Centennial Municipal Campground, located along the shore of the pristine Slocan Lake and in the friendly walkable town of New Denver, offers 44 sites. The campground surrounds a large public park which features a playground, playing field, beach volleyball court, gazebo, covered BBQ area and a cordoned off beach for swimming. The campground is perfect for families and groups that want to be beside the lake, in a quiet, easily accessible area. Map is available for download here – Park and Campground Brochure.
The Campground is connected to various walking trails and is near the Kohan Gardens, the Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre and the Silvery Slocan Museum. Its centralized location makes it ideal for planning day trips into Valhalla Provincial Park , Idaho Peak, the Galena Trail and the many other wilderness destinations that are located near Slocan Lake.
General Campground Information
SEASON – May 1st to September 30th (Campground may open earlier or close later if weather cooperates).

CAMPSITE FEES per night (inclusive of all applicable taxes) are:
Regular Site $25.00 Group Site $15.00/tent, min 4
Lakeside Site $30.00 Overflow Site $20.00
Serviced Site $30.00
ALL CAMPERS USING THE SANI- DUMP FACILITIES MUST PAY $5.00 PER USE
RESERVATIONS: In accordance with Council policy, sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a maximum 14-day stay. Reservations are available for a limited number of sites, with a minimum stay of 5 days. There is no minimum stay requirement for the group site.
Check-Out Time is 11:00 a.m.
Noise Policy To respect the various needs of our guests:
Quiet Hours: 10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Generator Use: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 (noon) and 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
FIRE SAFETY: For safety reasons (the sight of a melted Winnebago is enough to make a grown man cry) fires are only permitted in the fire pit at your site. Please do not put garbage in the fire pits. Absolutely no fire pits on the beach. Firewood is available from the campground hosts – please, no scavenging for firewood.
BATHROOMS: Bathrooms will be closed for a short period every day. We only clean one building at a time, so bathroom facilities are always available.
Shower Instructions: Deposit a $1.00 coin, pull the handle towards you to turn the water on (and push it back in when you’re done). You’ll get about four minutes of water and you can adjust the temperature just like you would at home.
PET POLICY: Pets need to be on a leash within the Village of New Denver, except for in the designated off-leash along the south side of Carpenter Creek. We have strategically placed “Poop & Scoop” dispensers and waste bins in the park for your convenience. Please pick up after your dog and make sure it doesn’t wander.
Recreation Equipment Available: Bocce Balls, badminton racquets, beach volleyballs and horseshoes may be obtained from the campground host.
Wind can be unpredictable. In the event of strong winds it is recommended that you roll up your awning.
