A commemorative roadway installation at the New Denver cenotaph has now been completed.
While the original project plan included the idea of veterans crosswalks, New Denver proceeded with an alternative design because this location does not need to function as a pedestrian crossing. The final design provides a clear and respectful tribute beside the cenotaph, recognizing those who served and sacrificed.
This is part of the broader veteran recognition project, as additional refurbishment work on the New Denver cenotaph is still planned.
The Village appreciates the work of the Silverton Community Club and everyone who contributed to this initiative.
