With the new Village wells and pumphouse at 620 Kootenay Street now fully operational, the Village is moving forward with the following:
- Decommissioning Well #1 at 712 Kootenay Street (lane behind Osprey Residence)
- Demolishing Pumphouse #1 at 712 Kootenay Street (lane behind Osprey Residence)
- Decommissioning Well #2 at 705 Eldorado Avenue (Greer Park)
- Demolishing Pumphouse #2 at 705 Eldorado Avenue (Greer Park)
- Decommissioning the 2011 Test Well at the site of the new Village wells.
- Decommissioning one of the two 2022 Test Wells south of the intersection of Slocan Avenue & Columbia Street
Brenton Industries has been contracted to coordinate and complete this project. This work involves road closures. DO NOT cross any barricades, fencing, or other barriers marking a construction site.
